A Question..??!!

Why did Canada keep silent about Ganji's recent issue ?!
why did they hesitate to at least resent Zahra Kazemi
's death in Iran, who was killed by the Iranian judiciary authorities at Evin Prison?!? not to mention they should have taken action against it at once !!

what's going on?!
is there any benefit for the Canadians to stay so conservative against Iran?!
...well, there are rumors regarding some Iranian high officials' immediate families who deposit their millions of dollars in their Canaidan bank accounts lately?!?!!!!

updates on Ganji, the prisoner of thought at Evin Prison, Iran

he was taken to hospital, for the excuse of treating his right knee ligament rupture (news in Persian), but is denied to meet his family or/and even his lawyers.
we all wish the best for his health; but how was he taken to hospital?
did he really pass out or was he made so?!
why can't his family at least see him in hospital now?!

I.R. of Iran immediately named a street where The British Embassy was located in Tehran after his name...
and now at the Evin Prison, not only Zahra Kazemi dies, but Akbar Ganji is on hunger strike ... !!!
...and there are still many prisoners of thought/ideas there.
then the newly-"elected" president says, "we didn't have revolution (we didn't topple down Shah) in order to have democracy in Iran." !!!!!!!!!!!

Ganji, an Iranian journalist,
the prisoner of free expression/thought in Iran

His wife has finally met him (today, july 4th) after some days. she says that he is still on hunger strike and has become very weak and can't talk well. But he is still having a good morale. He also insists that he should get released from prison unconditionally.
The prosecutor, Mortazavi, is still pushing him to write a letter of repentance, which means he should denounce all his previous ideas and his both Republican Manifestos. He has been threatened that more charges will be added to his file and his sentence will be extended otherwise.

- you can read his latest letter to all free people of the world in English here and in French here .
- also, his second Republican Manifesto is found here .

- join us here to let the world know about this issue, please.
