confession !?

from among movies my brother has sent me, Mehrjouyee's "Mom's Guests" (Mehman-e Maman) has been the one i have not only enjoyed watching but have been thinking how the overall framework of the culture belonging to the iranians with lower education and low-rank jobs has not changed much, not at least since the wartime when Mehrjouyee made "The Lodgers" (Ejareneshin-ha).
the movie is based on a story written by Moradi Kermani and has traces of sadness, poverty and sympathy. the director, however, knowing the depth of all these, features the very details of this culture, which i find quite rooted in the bases of the last 250 years of highs and lows in iran.

i should confess i laughed a lot watching it, and enjoyed this precision in showing the details. although i was also thinking how we can expect these people to practice logic and prudence in much bigger and more important issues like deciding about the future of the country!!!

yeah, right; if...

if they hadn't beaten you in a dirty way like that and you had been the new president now, you wouldn't have felt to be in the same boat next to most of the people now.
here is the problem: they claim to be "reformists" right when they get treated unjustly and they lose the chances of having the same old authority plus the steps to higher ups.
and they expect us to believe them !!

beyond visiting the "holy" cities !!??

isn't it the second time now that the iranian new president goes to Mash-had since he's taken office? what's going on there!!??

i don't understand how they can arrest someone, imprison him for years and set a legal(!) court when there is no constitutional law defined for political crimes.
