kids, the real grown-ups

when she was 4-5, i used to tease her saying:"don't be in a hurry to grow up, sweetie, stay a lil' kid, it's so cooolll !!"
she used to answer:"but i do wanna grow as soon as i can; i wanna be a grown-up, aunt, it's even cooooolller."

now being almost 10, i was talking to her on the phone the other day and reminded her of this, she replied:"yeah, i do remember it, aunt. and i miss my childhood(!!) now."
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

never ask a lady her age!

many years back

i was born

on such a day;

quite by chance!

 ...

but don’t want to be re-born

as a human.

never ever!

enlightenment

many years after her death, no woman yet has come, as outspoken, analytically clear and humanistically beautiful as Forough.
today, i had a great chance to see
the green coldness (sard-e sabz) and the crest of a wave (owj-e mowj) about Forough, both by Saffarian.

Thanks to my lovely brother for sending them to me.

i don't know why it's so hard for me to believe the honesty of
this guy, even now!

nothing went the way

it seemed.

nothing

is worth wishing now

when

nothing is going to be the way

it's supposed to seem.   12-aug-05

he describes the present situation appropriately, but i don't agree with his anticipation that much...
if the hardliners start to fall apart(as there are lil' traces of fights over authority and positions among them these days!!), the anarchy and chaos will pervade soon in iran and the result...?!
plus, it seems that they, before strating to critique the plans and strategies of the new government, will bring up situations in which they have to just respond to international pressures and/or to find ways to get away with their unclear, unwise, undiplomatic moves vs. the world (as their haste for nuclear programs proves it right now!)...

anyway, we'll see...!

Lost in Decision

the beautiful(!!) faces among the suggested cabinet members were expected; however, the regime's insisting (with so much internal media coverage) on nuclear programs, and re-starting one of the factories' operation ASAP raises a lot of doubts...!!!
and this very lil' (and contradictory) news on Ganji for almost 10-12 days now is going to turn everything to what the regime wants, it's really scary...plus the fact that blocking him off the events in society and even off his family will make him more stubborn than persistent; and this is exactly what the regime has always sought...

add them all to these threats by Ansar (the extreme hardliners' agents)... !!!

the regime is trying to make a situation in which people feel as if they're entangled in a labyrinth; lost in a maze... they want to keep people in confusion and doubt, so that they can win the game.
when you can't think properly or can't predict your opponent's next move, you will definitely make mistakes, or simply give in and...
this is part of what they have always been doing to the jailed writers/journalists/activists as well.
